This little birdie only cost me a couple of dollars. But the feeling she evoked was priceless. She awakened my inner child. And I thought to exclaim, "Are You My Mother?"
I love that book. It always made me nervous as a child (even though I'd read it before) thinking the poor bird would never make it home. That little birdie is so adorable.
I want one! That was my both of my boy's favorite book for a long long time. We all know it by heart.

I found her in the clearance section of Roberts Crafts. There were only a few left.
