Dieting

I quit the HCG diet last week.  While the results were intoxicating the side effects were frustrating and worrisome.  I lost 1.2 more pounds the next day.  However, I am now up 3 from there.  I'm glad to be off of HCG.  I hope I can put my mind to a true healthy diet and make the lifestyle changes I need to make.  Based on history the outlook is doubtful.  But, I only have to make the permanent life changes once, right?

  1. I am sure you will be able to do it. I know the most sucessful thing for me and others I know has been Weight Watchers. Good luck.

  2. I'm sorry it was not a good experience for you. I'm currently on the maintenance portion of it after almost 80 days of protocol. It was brutal. I never would have made it without multiple people to talk me through it. I'm sorry I didn't know you were on it - but then, if you feel good about your decision to quit I hope you find peace with it. I don't believe in a "one diet fits all." I truly hope for you to just find peace in whatever you do -- or don't do! :) As I've been learning as of late, it's not about the weight.
