By the end of day 2 I was so sick of eating I could hardly stand it. Plus, the acid reflux day 1 gifted me kept me up a good part of the night.
Today is the first day of the actual diet. So far I am hungry, hungry, hungry. I'm also seriously cold and completely drained of energy. I'm curious to see what measurements say tomorrow. But, I'm not sure that I can keep this up. When I visited the clinic the ladies said that if I was hungry that I was doing it wrong. I hate that I can't talk to the doctors until Monday.
I know you know people who have done this, but my sister just completed it and she was very hungry for about the first week. Eventually she got used to it- but it did take about a week. Also, she was ready for bed at about 6:30 every single night for about the first week or so as well. Only 500 calories a day takes a lot of time for your body to get used to. Hopefully, you get the support and help you need from the Dr's to accomplish your goal. Again, good luck.
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about this diet. Is a doctor appt involved every week?
ReplyDeleteThey call themselves doctors but they are really naturopathic chiropractors. You only go visit them if you are having problems. The main benefit is the support of the knowledge they and their staff have. They have supervised hundreds of dieters and can help along the way.
ReplyDeleteMy regular MD said he didn't know enough about the diet to help. He mainly said that he had seen a few people succeed on it and he was willing to "supervise." I can do most of what he would have done for myself.
